Spicebush Swallowtail

Not the kind that likes to sit still for pictures. Larval food is sassafras and spicebush, conveniently juxtaposed in my yard. Pictured is glossy abelia, non-native but inoffensive. The moths like it most and it flowers all summer. Posted by Picasa
