Monarch butterfly larvae, spotted on the one swamp milkweed plant in the yard. There are many common milkweed plants but I haven't seen any larvae on them. Interesting!

First time I've gotten fruit after 5-6 years, I finally got a second plant and that apparently did the trick.

After only seven years!  Not in a particularly moist location either.  We dug a little depression and there is a drain pipe outlet so technically it's a rain garden.
